I started working on this a few days after the episode aired.

I only finished it now because I swear working on this drained every bit of happy out of me. This is, in my opinion, one of the most tragic stories ever to take place in a children's cartoon. Maybe because these days we're just desensitized to folks losing their parents, or maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm the one who's messed up. But to me, this really hit home. Simon is officially one of my favorite characters in pretty much anything, but certainly in Adventure Time.

There better be some closure for this poor guy, but honestly, even if he does get help, I don't think he'll ever be right again. It's been a thousand years. Damn it's just so sad. ;n;

But I'm glad Adventure Time had the balls to air an episode like I Remember You. This shows more than just a funny little cartoon to me now.
